大模型风潮之下,具身智能一并崛起,能够与物理世界进行交互的通用型机器人或已初露端倪。动作捕捉作为必要的输入手段,为机器人系统提供运动数据,帮助其准确地了解和模拟人体运动——动作捕捉这一诞生于上世纪的「古老技术」,也即将迎来它的进化。
本次分享将阐述动作捕捉与感知交互技术的发展历程,帮助观众建立起有关「生成式」动作捕捉的初步认识,探讨动作捕捉、感知交互技术与具身智能领域的密切关联,提供展望数字化未来的新视角。
With the popularity of LLM, the field of Embodied AI is also gradually emerging. Universal robots capable of interacting with the physical world are already showing signs of emergence. As a necessary input method, motion capture technology provides motion data to robotic systems, helping them accurately understand and simulate human movement. Motion capture, this "old tech" born in the last century, is also about to undergo its evolution.
This seminar will delve into the evolution of motion capture and perceptual interaction technologies, helping participants gain a foundational understanding of "generative" motion capture. It will explore the vital links between motion capture, perceptual interaction, and the field of Embodied AI, and offer fresh insights into the digital future.

Dr. Tristan Dai Co-founder & CTO of Beijing Noitom Technology Ltd.
戴若犁博士是北京诺亦腾科技有限公司联合创始人,并担任公司CTO职务。现任中关村技术评审专家,教授级高级工程师职称,为SPIE(国际光学工程学会 )会员和ASME(美国机械工程师协会)会员。戴博士毕业于中国科学技术大学(BEng, 2002)及香港中文大学(MPhil, 2004, PhD, 2007),荣获香港中文大学机械工程学院杰出校友、香港中文大学机械与自动化工程学系杰出校友称号。
戴若犁博士拥有力学、嵌入式系统、计算机辅助工程等多学科交叉教育背景,其研究及工作主要集中于动作捕捉、计算机图形学、可视化技术、三维建模与渲染技术、影视特效制作、虚拟现实与增强现实技术等领域,先后在国内外顶级学术期刊、学术会议发表学术论文十余篇,出版专著1部,拥有专利40余项。作为技术负责人,戴若犁博士带领诺亦腾研发团队长期从事前沿原始创新技术的研发与应用,具有丰富的科技产品开发与成果转化经验。其领导研发的“无线高速全身动作捕捉系统”及“大空间多人半物理仿真虚拟现实平台”达到国际顶尖水平,在虚拟现实,电影特效制作,动画制作及游戏交互等行业具有很高的影响力。
Dr. Tristan Ruoli Dai is the Co-Founder of Noitom Ltd. and serving as CTO. He obtained his MPhil and PhD degrees from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2004 and 2007, respectively. Dr. Dai received the Outstanding Alumni Award from the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, CUHK in September 2014, and the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Faculty of Engineering, CUHK in March 2017.
Dr. Dai possesses rich experience in developing cutting-edge technologies, his research and work mainly focus on motion capture technology, computer graphics, visualization technology, 3D modeling and rendering technology, film and television special effects, virtual reality and augmented reality technology, etc.
As the technical leader of Noitom, Dr. Dai has led the R&D team to engage in the R&D and application of cutting-edge innovative technologies. The “wireless high-speed full-body motion capture system” and “Large space free roaming, multiple user, mixed reality simulation platform”, developed under his leadership, reached top international standards. These products are highly influential in the industries of virtual reality, film-production, animation, virtual simulation, virtual production and scientific research applications.
