在如今EDM市场越来越饱和的情况下，创新的品质很难得到呈现。来自加拿大魁北克蒙特利尔的制作人Snails，抱着对音乐的热爱突破了这个尴尬的情况。他没有像大部分音乐人一样墨守成规，勇敢并成功的发展了一个EDM新流派，电子乐届命名为“Vomitstep”。

就如其名一样狂躁，Snails甚至曾在加拿大本地演出时不小心碰断了他的牙齿。

他在自己的公寓里创造了的这种他眼里的跳舞音乐，是一种将Trap的旋律、狂躁的鼓点以及超现实的音色糅合后完美混合的新玩意儿。

Snails的第一首混音于2012年上线在（Kannibalen Records），刚开始并没有获得很多的关注，因为人们习惯了认为加拿大法式的音乐总是很奇怪。但是慢慢的，他的音乐吸引了越来越多的听众包括其他音乐制作人。

他用跳舞音乐去交流，打破了人们的常规想法。

Snails与著名音乐人Skrillex和Diplo合作的单曲如“HollaOut”以及“KingIs Back”，成为了他的代表性作品之一。

首支单曲发行2年后，Snails在圈内赢得了越来越多的认可和尊重。又发行了“Wild”，“PumpThis”，并在美国举行了首次演出。人们意识到Snails除了一流的制作水准，也有不同寻常的的舞台魅力。

Snails开始了越来越多的大型演出，包括各大一线音乐节，如EDC拉斯维加斯音乐节，世界上规模最大的EDM音乐节迈阿密Ultra，美国Electric Forest音乐节，Coachella，Lollapalooza，等。

2016年初期，Snails更“征服”了南美洲。牛逼的“EnterSlugz City”南美巡演成为了年度盛况，他的名声更因此火遍了欧洲大陆。

In today’s saturated EDM market, originality is hard to come by, but Montreal producer Snails has managed to rise above the pack with an unmistakable sound called “Vomitstep”.

Having cut his teeth DJing in the local bass scene, Snails worked tirelessly in his small apartment to craft his own vision of dance music, combining trap rhythms, dirty bass lines and off-kilter sound design.

His first tracks appeared online in 2012 on fledgling imprint Kannibalen Records. Success was not immediate, as the forward-thinking French Canadian’s sound was so different and weird. But slowly, audiences started listening, and DJs started noticing the awesome power behind “Vomitstep”.

It wasn’t long before all the stars of the bass world came calling for collaborations with the innovative producer.

In 2014, Snails started gaining serious traction in the industry, releasing “Wild” and “Pump This” and making his first US concert appearances. Fans and promoters quickly noticed that not only could Snails churn out massive tracks in the studio, he could also rock a party like no one else.

It was only natural that in 2015, the stages grew bigger as Snails threw down acclaimed sets at festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Ultra and Electric Forest.

Snails further made his mark by collaborating with Jack U for “Holla Out” and putting out monster singles like “King Is Back”.

In early 2016, Snails truly conquered North America on the massive “Enter Slugz City” Tour which saw the bass prodigy sell out major concert halls across the continent.

He also solidifyed his presence as an unmissable festival act with widely acclaimed sets at Coachella, Lollapalooza and Ultra. 

With an insane summer festival run, followed by co-headline fall dates with Borgore on the Safe In Sound tour, and recent collabs with Pegboard Nerds and Flux Pavilion, Snails is continuing on his path to becoming one of the top dance artists of this generation; all while pushing his own unique sound.
