Entrepreneurs have the ability to solve problems, and to create innovative solutions for users, customers, and the world. If we could break down the problem-solving process into a structured design process, could anyone become an entrepreneur?

On June 24, we're honored to have invited Sebastian Martin, co-founder of Cambio Ventures and social entrepreneur, to conduct a workshop dedicated to problem solving in innovative ways. This workshop is also a preview of the Entrepreneurial Problem Solving course.

Throughout this course, our class and team will undergo a structured design process to answer the following questions:

• How can we identify problems in the world around us and think of them as opportunities for entrepreneurial innovation?

• How can we leverage our collective knowledge and skills as a team to create a solution and demonstrable prototype by the end of the week?

• How can we test our solution with targeted real world users or customers, and improve our product according to their honest feedback?

• How can we present our solution as a scalable project or business, and ask for the resources and partnerships necessary to make it a sustainable venture?

This course will involve extensive group-work, critical and creative thinking, brainstorming, online research, prototyping and product testing, customer interviews, teamwork, and formulating a long-term vision and actionable plan for your solution or entrepreneurial venture.
